LUPA System

Digitize works of almost any size.

Portable and easy to operate, the equipment allowing to work directly in the place where the artwork is.

Closed photographic system (it does not influence the lighting where the artwork is)

Ultra precise laser positioning system of absolute coordinates.

High scanning resolution > 1100 ppi (pixels per inch).

High working speed (approximately 240 sq ft per working day).

Fast post-processing in the cloud.

Output files in multiple formats: jpg, tif, raw and Zoomify images for Smart Web Integration Services.

The use of flash allows the artwork to be exposed to light for the shortest possible time in the order of 1/200,000 seconds per photo in an artwork area of approximately 6 x 4 inches.

Polarized light allows digitizing without reflections from varnishes or glass.

Designed as a platform to facilitate the use of future camera models with higher resolution and features.

What makes us different

Lupa System is a revolutionary technology for the digitalization of artworks that stands out from the competition in several key ways. First, it uses parallel matrix photometry to capture high resolution images with unparalleled accuracy, while other systems rely on angular scanning and require adjustments for geometric deformations. Additionally, Lupa System moves parallel to the artwork and uses polarized flash light on its own head to achieve perfectly homogeneous lighting without reflections or ambient light influences, whereas other systems may produce reflections or be influenced by ambient light. Lupa System is also simple and fast to use, requiring no previous photographic knowledge, and is ideal for large artworks due to its portability and extendability. Furthermore, it has a high efficiency, allowing for times of up to 20 minutes per square meter at a resolution of 1100 dpi, making it faster and more precise than other systems. Finally, Lupa System uses proprietary technology in its mathematical algorithms to solve the use of flashes instead of continuous light in its cloud post-processing, a feature not offered by other systems.
